Unit 20 Client Side Customisation of Web

Summary of what was covered and/or what was learned:
  • We are learning basic HTML code using notepad. Things such has Simple text, colours, hyperlinks and images.
  • Started using Microsoft Expression web combined with HTML.

  • Handed in Assignment 1
  • Teacher returned Assignment one - "Good first try but a few small changes". Need to hand in again after adjusting.
  • Learnt about the use of Frames in HTML
  • Learnt about Forms in HTML
  • Started using Java script  to make 'alert' boxes and change the web page.
  • Doing more javascript tasks. Making a "Order Form" Website using java.
  • Almost finished assignment 2, need to hand in.
  • Started Assignment 3
    • Made a website.
  • Finished assignment 3 and handed in
Finished "Unit 20 Client Side Customisation of Web" .
Possible application(s) of what was learned:
Creating HTML websites and using Javascript to add extra features and functionality.


Possible area(s) of impact on career opportunities if any:
Working in a company maintaining a website, designing website for people or companies and coding java programs.

Other possible Development Activity(s) suggested by this activity:
I could go onto advance web design, learning new code and Java. I could also used the java skills i learnt in programing.
